About Me:
Tam is a 25 year old woman, lady, girl, child, mother to three kids, but mum to only two. She never has any real spare time so she makes her own by ignoring what she should be doing. She never delays about anything important – only the housework, exercise and sometimes paying the bills.
Tam met, fell in love and married Matt in the 14 months between Jan 2004 and May 2005. What has followed since has been 6 years of tears heartache hilarity stupidity, defunct cars, bad credit and memories that are worth every second of all of it. Mum to Lucy – the 4.5 year old fashion queen with a high intellect and low ability to just.stop.talking, and Oliver the not-quite-1-year old baby of the family who eats everything in sight, including the cat. Life is always busy, and never dull. Together we combine our varying degrees of crazy under the one roof just outside the city of Brisbane, in Queensland Australia. (Yes there are kangaroos. No we don’t ride them. Yes we have koala’s. No, they are not Koala bears. Yes, there are drop bears. Be cautious. )
Between Lucy and Oliver was Ariana. She graced our family with her presence for four short days before tiring of we mere mortals and ascending heaven to deck out our heavenly mansion in all the pinks and purples she can manage before we get there and join her. We miss her daily but life is for living so daily Tam muddles through on a daily basis.
If all of this isn’t enough to scare you away for life, you should stick around and read what Tam has to say. She promises to make you cry without warning you it’s coming. She might make you laugh. And if you’re just here to get out of washing the dishes, you’re in good company. Should you get bored – check out the blog-roll. Tam procrastinates with the best of them.

lol @ the drop bears.. you’re mean to strangers.

You are an amazing writer Tam. I lost two children years ago and reading your post, blog to older Mama’s I could relate to it. You should seriously think about compiling your blogs into a book. You have an amazing insight into what it is like to loose a child. Thank-you for sharing your storyxxoo Ursula
